About Us

We are two young farmers who grew up on the West coast islands of British Columbia. After our daughter was born we choose to return to Quadra Island to farm on family land. Thanks to that opportunity we where able to start a mixed farm and grow our family. Raising a family and farming is an amazing experience. Gardening and farming brings us together as a family every day. Whether it’s my two year old planting potatoes and broad beans in the spring or my five year old collecting eggs and growing her first very own vegetable garden this year. As our children bring in the harvest through the year and enjoy eating together we feel by working together we have made something real and sustaining.  We hope through our example of old fashioned values and hard work that our children will learn where their own food comes from and how much better food tastes when you sweat for it.
